The Austin Daily Herald is looking for spooky submissions.

Send the Herald a short story, poem or picture to be featured in an upcoming publication. The top three get a $10 gift certificate to Perkins in Austin, and three runners-up get a two-week subscription to the Herald.

Do you have a first-hand account of something haunted? Or maybe a creepy story or poem from your imagination, or a Halloween-themed photo or drawning. If it’s spooky, we want it.

Short stories should be no longer than 500 words and poems 350 words. Pictures should be originally composed to reflect your haunted vision.

Please use discretion with subject matter.
