Sandra (Kamp) Spencer, 66, of Albertville, Minn., died unexpectedly in the emergency room at Mercy Hospital, Coon Rapids, Minn. on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013.

Sandra was born on Dec. 25, 1946, at Austin, Minn. the daughter of Herbert and Agnes (Hartz) Kamp. She graduated from Austin High School and attended the University of Minnesota. Sandra was employed as an office manager with Park Dental in Champlin, Minn.

Sandy was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan and member of the “First Wives Club.” She was a nature lover and enjoyed watching birds and gardening. She was an excellent cook and liked to make Scandinavian “goodies” and also had done some crocheting and needlework.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Sandra is survived by her sons, Geoffrey W. Spencer, Eden Prairie, Minn., and Daniel R. Spencer, Hopkins, Minn.,; grandchildren, Jasmine Spencer, Chase Spencer and Gavin Spencer; brother, Dennis Kamp, Goodland, Minn., and her dog Charlie.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28, at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary with the Reverend Thomas Ogilvie officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Monday from noon until the time of the service.
