O’Leary

Bob was born June 18, 1957, the youngest of four children born to John and Etta O’Leary. He attended Austin Catholic Schools and graduated in 1975.  During his high school days, he started working at the former Oak Leaf Restaurant as a dishwasher, working his way up until buying in as a partner in the late 1970s – early 80s. Around this time, Bob married Janelle (Peterson) O’Leary, and in 1985, they solely purchased the Oak Leaf. Together they ran this operation until 1997. Later, Bob and Janelle divorced.

In 2001, Bob married Pam Nicholas, and continued to live and work in local restaurants, in Austin. Bob was a fun-loving, compassionate, hard working person with a gentle smile. He loved to golf-an activity in which he was gifted.  Bob also loved to read and watch sports with his son, Ryan.
