Mat Miller, director of facility services for Austin Public Schools, received the 2013 Facilities Management Professional of the Year award at the annual Minnesota Educational Facilities Management Professionals Assocation conference on Oct. 3.

Each year MASMS awards its highest honor to a member who exhibits professionalism, leadership and service in his or her career and life.  This award is in recognition of Mr. Miller’s contribuitons to MASMS, his school district, his community and his profession.

As part of this award, a $1000 scholarship will be given to the Austin School District No. 492 in Mat Miller’s name.
