The Mower County Law Enforcement Center lobby has reopened after a long hiatus for remodeling, and those looking to dispose their unused medications again have access to the Rx dropbox.
The lobby opened to the public on Wednesday, and the prescription dropbox is open, just to left of the LEC clerk’s window.
The lobby is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. However, the prescription dropbox will also be accessible from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, which is National Takeback Day, when law enforcement agencies across the country will accept disposals of unused medications.
Update: A previous version of this story mentioned the Takeback Day as Nov. 2. It is Oct. 26.
