Grand Meadow football team knocks off No. 5 Spring Grove

The Grand Meadow football team bounced back from a game where they allowed 47 points by playing their best defensive game of the season in GM Friday.
The Superlarks held No. 5 ranked Spring Grove (6-1 overall, 5-1 SEC) to 223 yards in a 12-7 win.
GM (6-1 overall, 4-1 SEC) took the lead for good on a 16-yard TD run by Trenton Bleifus with 11:16 left in the fourth quarter.
Bleifus ran for 63 yards and two scores in the win.
