The Lake Wobegon Brass Band will cap its opening 2013-14 weekend with a 3 p.m. performance Oct. 13 at the Paramount Theatre.

The Anoka-based brass band’s weekend concerts will feature the premiere performance of Mike Serber’s arrangement of “Jericho Rhapsody” by Morton Gould. Serber plays Eb Cornet with the band. Opening up the concert will be the Finale of “The William Tell Overture.”

Other pieces include “Beyond Far Horizons” by Philip Wilby, “Them Basses” by Getty Huffine, “Riverdance” and “Grace and Glory” by Jack Stamp, “Harlequin” and “You Raise Me Up.”
