The Packer girls soccer team played about as good as they could, but it wasn’t enough as they lost 1-0 at Kasson-Mantorville (13-3 overall) in their regular season finale Saturday.

The Komets scored the game winning goal with two minutes remaining in regulation.

“It was an amazing game for both teams,” Austin head coach Enrique Camarena-Corzo said. “The girls played one of their best games ever.”

Austin (5-8-1 overall) will host New Prague in a Section 2A tournament game next Tuesday at 5 p.m.
