For the 13th year, Cornerstone Church is chalking up one Sunday for fun.

Cornerstone, located in the Sterling Shopping Center, will host its 13th annual FunFest, a free event for the community this Sunday.

The day kicks off at 10:30 a.m. with an outdoor church service in the Sterling parking lot. Hy-Vee will cater a free lunch, with hamburgers, hot dogs, and refreshments. There will be fun for all ages with giant inflatables, balloon animals, snow cones, cotton candy, gaga ball pit, a climbing wall, and the Vikings game will be shown outdoors for all the football fans.

“This is a great community and family event to wrap up the summer,” said Dave Simerson, lead pastor of Cornerstone Church. “Everyone is invited, and every year I look forward to seeing lots of new faces at FunFest.”
