MANKATO – The Austin volleyball team picked up its first win of the season at the Mankato tournament Saturday.

The Packers beat Maple River 25-15, 25-20, they lost to Mankato Loyola 25-11, 27-25 and they lost on a tiebreaker to New Richland-HEG 25-23, 25-21 on a tie-breaker.

Mer Gach had 15 kills and eight ace blocks for the Packers (1-12 overall).
