James (Jim) Edwin Conner Jr. was born in Austin, Minn., on Feb. 21, 1932.   He left this life on Oct. 23, 2012, at St.Francis Medical Center in Shakopee, Minn., at the age of 80 years.

Interment for the ashes of James (Jim) Conner will be held on Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. at the Woodbury Cemetery located about 12 miles south of Austin, on Highway 105.

Friends may gather at the Truck Stop on Interstate 90 just west of Austin about 12:45 p.m. We will proceed from there to Highway 105 and to the Woodbury Cemetery. There will be a brief committal service and informally friends may speak of their memories of Jim as a friend, teacher, guru, chef, scoutmaster, photographer, and fixer of all things fixable in his mechanical/troubleshooting service to the London/Lyle/Austin Communities in his early years.
