A Relay for Life balloon discovered in Ontario late last month wasn’t the only one of its skyward-bound companions to be found far from Austin.

Dean Maher found one of the Mower County Relay’s purple balloons, released from Bandshell Park on July 27, in Kelleys Island, Ohio, on Sunday. The tag attached to it was in honor of Marlene Blush.

By land, the journey is about 670 miles, or just short of 11 hours by car.
