Minn. review into Vikings owner finances back on

MINNEAPOLIS — Meetings have restarted between Minnesota Vikings officials and lawyers for the state after the team turned over documents that had been withheld.
A spokeswoman for the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority says Wednesday the Vikings now appear to have turned over all documents needed for a due diligence review of the finances of owners Zygi and Mark Wilf.
They’re the subject of greater scrutiny after a New Jersey judge ruled the Wilfs defrauded a partner in an unrelated development deal. Last week, Authority officials said the Wilfs had resisted providing documents sought by the state.
Authority spokeswoman Jenn Hathaway says the review could wrap later this week or next. The Vikings halted negotiations on stadium lease and development agreements until the review is finished, sparking concerns about the project’s construction timeline.
