The Austin Area Art Center will host “The Illustrators,” a fine art exhibit July 31-Aug 25 at Oak Park Mall.

They will also hold an open house Aug. 4 from 1-3 p.m. Attendants will be able to talk with the artists or just enjoy some of Southern Minnesota’s local artwork. The event is open to the public and free refreshments and snacks will be provided.

Art Center looking for exhibitors

The Austin Area Arts Center is looking for artists to take part its upcoming exhibit, “The Illustrators.”

Artists can enter one piece of work for $5, four pieces for $15, and five pieces or more for $20.

The fine art exhibit will focus on the use of drawings, pictures, photographs, diagrams and more in telling a story through words and visuals.
