Patricia Boyle Woodfill, 98, of Brownsdale, Minn., died Sunday, June 9, 2013, at her home in Brownsdale.

Patricia Evelyn Boyle was born Aug. 8, 1914, in Bloomington, Minn., the daughter of Eugene and Selma (Verbeck) Boyle. She graduated from high school in Minneapolis in the class of 1931. Patricia was married to Gary Joseph Woodfill on Feb. 10, 1939, in Charles City, Iowa. The Woodfills moved to the Austin area and after Gary built the family a new home, they moved to Brownsdale.

Patricia was a member of the Brownsdale United Methodist Church and was active in the United Methodist Church Women. She was a horticulturalist, and avid gardener and member of the Austin Garden Club. Pat enjoyed sewing and was a bird watcher. Pat and Gary enjoyed camping in northern Minnesota and spending winter in Mesa, Ariz., following Gary’s retirement in 1976.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gary in 2006, her parents and one brother.

Patricia is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Sue and Bruce Kehret, Moses Lake, Wash., Judy Marshall, Byron, Minn.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 14 at the Brownsdale United Methodist Church with Pastor Sharon Goetzinger officiating. Visitation will be held at the church for one hour before the service on Friday morning. Memorials may be directed to the Brownsdale United Methodist Church. Clasen-Jordan Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
