ROCHESTER — The Austin boys tennis team took ninth at the Big Nine tennis tournament in Rochester Saturday.

Austin’s No. 3 doubles team of Seth Hebrink and Cole Nicole took third, No. 2 singles player Colton Detwiler and No. 3 singles player Bob Sherman won consolation championships and Jeremey Olmsted lost a consolation final in a close match.

“We had some tough draws all around but we fought back in consolation rounds and got some points,” Austin head coach Troy Dieman said.
