Edna Louise Haack, 95 of Austin, Minn., passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2013, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, Minn.

Edna was born July 25, 1917, at Rockfalls, Iowa, to Joe and Tracy (Rose) Wyborny. In 1936, Edna married Louis Frederick Haack in Northwood, Iowa.

She worked on a farm in Dexter and lived most of her life in Austin.

Edna enjoyed writing poems, sewing and playing guitar and was a great cook.  She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Edna is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Darlene Keyser-Turner and Jerry Turner, Austin, Minn.; son: Darryl “Skip” Haack, Austin, Minn.; daughter-in-law: Judy Ann Haack, Austin, Minn.; grandson: Tom Keyser, Austin; granddaughter: Elizabeth Louise Haack, Austin, Minn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Louis, son Danny, siblings Milton, Leona and Walter and step siblings Wilma and Ray.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29, at Clasen-Jordan Mortuary with the Rev. Pam Aandahl Solberg officiating. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be for one hour before the service.
