Drug raid reportedly uncovers meth, ends in arrest

A team of law enforcement officials arrested a suspect Tuesday morning after a drug raid in Austin.
According to the Austin Police Department’s report, police, an investigator and special incident response team got a search warrant and raided the home in the 2100 block of Fourth Avenue SE at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. The team arrested one man and reportedly found syringes, baggies with methamphetamine residue, $4,100 cash and an undisclosed amount of meth. The suspect was placed in the Mower County jail and may be charged with felony drug possession.
No law enforcement officials were hurt during the raid.
