Mower County is among many Minnesota counties hosting another Breakfast on the Farm day in 2013.

This year’s Breakfast on the Farm in Mower will be from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. June 22 at Jim and Connie Sathre’s farm in Adams.

Among horse wagon rides and a kiddie barnyard, there will be farm equipment, farm safety and organizational displays. Participants may park at the farm, 17513 680th Avenue, or take a shuttle from Hy-Vee in Austin. Among the educational farm activities, organizers will serve pancakes, sausages, coffee, orange juice and milk.

Admission is $3 for adults and free for children 6 and younger.

Breakfast on the Farm is sponsored by the Mower County Farm Bureau and various agricultural organizations.
