NEW RICHLAND — The Blooming Prairie softball team beat New Richland-HEG (8-3 overall) 7-1 in New Richland Tuesday.

Shelbi Swenson struck out 15 for BP (13-3 overall).

BP beat Waseca 4-1 and lost to Kasson-Mantorville 4-2 in 12 innings Saturday.
