Ashley Dooley, daughter of Karla and Randy Dooley of Austin, and Patrick Symmonds, son of Kelly and Doug Symmonds of Austin, proudly announce their engagement.

Ashley is a 2007 Pacelli High School graduate and a 2011 St. Katherines University graduate with a major in biology. She works at Swimming School of Shreveport, La.

Patrick is a 2007 Austin High School graduate currently attending college. He is a member of the U.S. Air Force.

Grandparents are (bride’s) Irene Yocom and the late Robert (Red) Yocom of Austin, and Rita Dooley and the late Eugene Dooley of South Dakota; (groom’s) Ron and Wanda Symmonds of Wilton, Iowa, and Joan Smith of Davenport, Iowa.

Ashley and Patrick will marry at St. Augustine Church on June 22, 2013, and make their home in Shreveport, La.
