Utilities urges customers to make up late payments

With warmer weather and the end of the Cold Weather Rule period coming on April 15, customers with unpaid balances and without sufficient payment arrangements could lose service.

Those customers that have made efforts to pay over the winter or have worked out a sufficient payment arrangement need not take any action, according to a Utilities press release. However, customers who have neglected to make regular payments during the winter and expect to have additional time may face disconnection, especially if they ignore their winter bill year after year.

Customers with past-due balances should immediately take steps to pay the bill in full or set up a payment arrangement by calling customer service at 507-433-8886 or stopping by our office to make a payment or set up arrangements.
