Southland baseball team sweeps Rushford-Peterson

RUSHFORD — The Southland baseball team opened it season strong as it swept a doubleheader from Rushford-Peterson by scores of 20-1 and 5-1 on the road Thursday.
Decker Bendtsen went 4-for-6 with six RBIs on the day.
Luke Anderson struck out 10 and allowed two hits in one win for Southland (2-0 overall, 2-0 Three Rivers) and Taylar Schwartz struck out 11 and allowed six hits in the other win.
