Police arrested two Austin residents after a March 29 drug bust allegedly uncovered nearly 42 grams of methamphetamines.

Adelfa Coroado Buentello, 52, and Ramiro Buentello Jr., 57, both face a felony charge in Mower County Court for first-degree drug possession of more than 25 grams of meth.

Police raided the home at the 1600 block of Oakland Avenue East at about 7 a.m. March 29. Police breached the door when nobody answered but later spoke to Ramiro, who showed them 0.66 grams of meth folded inside of cash in a pants pocket, according to the court complaint. The complaint adds officers then found three stashes of meth totaling 41.8 grams hidden in the soil of potted plants.
