About 100 people took part in the Pacelli St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 17, which went from Pacelli to the B&J Bar & Grill and celebrated 100 years of Pacelli Catholic Schools in Austin.

“The tie-in between the Pacelli Shamrocks and St. Patrick’s Day is such a natural fit,” said Randy Kramer, parade volunteer. “It was just wonderful opportunity to have some fun celebrating our faith and 100 years of Catholic education.”

The event is part of the year-long festivities at Pacelli that will also include the “Celebration of the Century” auction on April 27, the Pacelli Golf Day and Hall of Fame dinner on June 21, and the all-school reunion Aug. 23 – 25.

“We want to thank the entire Austin community for supporting Pacelli,” said Lori Walz, Pacelli president. “Our students continue to excel both academically and spiritually, which will remain our focus for the next 100 years.”
