ROCHESTER — The No. 3 Grand Meadow girls basketball team had its season end in a 63-41 loss to No. 2 Spring Grove (22-6 overall) in the Section 1A West Division semifinals in Mayo Civic Auditorium Monday.

The Superlarks (16-11 overall) were within 47-36 with 3:53 left, but the Lions closed the game out at the free throw line.

“They just really killed us on the boards,” GM head coach Dawn Baudoin said. “Everything else was even.”

Audra Durhman led GM with 16 points and Autumn Thorsen had 10 points.
