Nolan Ray Hartley, 75, of Minneapolis died of heart failure Feb. 5, 2013, at Mt. Olivet Careview in Minneapolis.

Nolan was born Jan. 9, 1938, in Austin, Minn., to Raymond and Mildred (Foss) Hartley. He attended Central High School in Austin, and went on to be employed as a bus driver and work for Land O’ Lakes in his younger years. In his free time, Nolan enjoyed fishing and playing bingo.

He is survived by three daughters, Debra Tappin, Sandra Blanton and Vicki Dropik, all of Minneapolis; one brother, Kenneth Hartley of Austin; two sisters, Barbara Prantner and Beverly Prantner, both of Austin; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Nolan was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Hartley; mother, Mildred (Foss) Hartley; brother, Keith Hartley; and grandson, Adam Blanton.

A funeral service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 9, 2013, at Mt. Olivet Careview, 5517 Lyndale Ave. S, Minneapolis, MN 55419, with Steve Saindon officiating. Flowers and cards may be sent to that location.
