Lucille C. Allen, 97, Austin, Minn., died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at her residence.

She was born November 7, 1915, in Fergus Falls, Minn. to Conrad Baglo and Clara Youngberg Baglo. Lucille graduated as valedictorian of her high school class. She loved sewing, gardening, canning, puzzles and quilting at St. Augustine and Queen of Angels. She was also fond of feeding things she shouldn’t to her dog Pumpkin.

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband Earl Allen and numerous family members. She is survived by her children: Joyce (Wayne) Heard, Gary (Janelle) Allen, Roger Allen, Sandra (Denny) Keogh, Martin Allen, Sharon (Dennis Bute) Allen, Daniel (Patti) Allen, Rebecca Kelsen, Ronald Allen, Linda (Mark) Olson, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Lucille Allen will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013, at Mayer Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m with Father James Steffes presiding. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Austin.
