LeRoy Linderman, 80, of LeRoy, Minn., died Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minn.

LeRoy Lee Linderman was born Feb. 15, 1932, in Cresco, Minn., to Roy and Florence (Kilby) Linderman. He joined the U.S. Army in 1949 and was discharged in 1951. On Oct. 11, 1952, he was united in marriage to LuluBelle Hansen and to this union three children were born: Mark, Kathy and Joel.

LeRoy was a member of the LeRoy American Legion. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his wife LuluBelle of LeRoy; his children, Mark and LuAnn Linderman of Rochester, Kathy and Tom Gasca of Stewartville, Minn., and Joel Linderman of LeRoy; six grandchildren, Tara (Mitch) Dvorak, Amanda Linderman, Amber Diderrich, Lindsey (Bill) Royer, Jennifer Linderman and Jordan Smith; seven great-grandchildren; one sister; Lucille (John) Crum of Mason City, Iowa; and three brothers, Dale (Karen) Linderman of Mason City, Ronald (Dianne) Linderman and Francis (Kathy) Ranc of New Hampton, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents; a great-grandson, Logan; two brothers, Robert and Darrold; and three sisters, Pauline, Alice and Dorothy.

Funeral services for LeRoy L. Linderman will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at the LeRoy Lutheran Church with the Rev. Herman Bakker officiating. Burial will be in the Chester Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Hindt Funeral Home in LeRoy and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
