HAYFIELD — The Hayfield boys basketball team beat La Crescent (8-12 overall, 4-6 HVL Gold) 45-37 in Hayfield Tuesday.

The Vikings (16-5 overall, 9-3 HVL Gold) led 45-30 late but the Lancers scored the last seven points of the game.

“We were pretty ugly on offense, but the game was never in doubt,” Hayfield head coach Chris Pack said.
