Cops follow footprints to find stolen items

Police are investigating suspects after a reported burglary led officers to a house with multiple people, along with the stolen items on Saturday morning.
Austin Police received the report after 12:30 a.m. about several stolen items in the 500 block of Fifth Street Northwest, including a Playstation 3 and controllers, Nintedo Wii and controllers, a Remington shotgun, a Mossberg .22-caliber rifle and a Gateway computer.
Officers followed footprints in the snow at 6: 20 a.m. to the 600 block of Fifth Avenue Northwest where they several people were inside the home, according to the report, along with the stolen property. One suspect was also cited for marijuana and paraphernalia possession.
Police are still interviewing suspects, and the case remains under investigation.
