NEW RICHLAND — The Blooming Prairie girls basketball team lost to No. 2 New Richland-HEG (24-1 overall, 14-0 Gopher) 77-41 in New Richland Friday.

Taylor Hagen had 11 points and 10 rebounds for BP (16-8 overall, 10-4 Gopher).

The Awesome Blossoms finished third in the Gopher Conference and they will open tournament play next week.
