The Lyle-Pacelli girls basketball team beat Lanesboro (3-11 overall, 2-7 SEC) in Pacelli Gym Tuesday.

The Athletics (12-1 overall, 7-1 SEC) led just 20-12 early on, but they eventually pulled away as they allowed just five points in the second half.

Courtney Walter had 15 points and five assist for LP, which has now won eight straight, and Sarah Holtz had 13 points and eight rebounds.
