ADAMS — The Southland boys basketball team lost to Lewiston-Altura (10-6 overall, 8-4 Three Rivers) by a score of 80-71 in Adams Tuesday.
Nick Schmitz, who scored 21 points, hit five threes in the second half for the Rebels (12-4 overall, 9-2 Three Rivers), but it wasn’t enough.
“We shot well in the second half, but on defense we were slow and Lewiston took advantage of our miscues,” Southland head coach Jon Thalberg said.
