—Sam Stier, son of Judy Einck of Austin, was named to the fall 2012 dean’s list at Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato. Stier is a 2008 graduate of Pacelli High School.

—Preston Nibaur, son of Mark Nibaur of Austin, was named to the fall 2012 dean’s list at Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa. Nibaur, a senior majoring in biology and chemistry, is a past graduate of Sergeant Bluff-Luton High School.

—Four area students were named to the fall 2012 dean’s list at North Dakota State University: Joshua Tan of Austin, Andrew Churchill and Ben Zillgitt of Dexter, and Faith Halverson of Hayfield.

—Brady Stier of Austin was named to the 2012 fall semester dean’s list at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa.
