Grace Lutheran Church will hold a benefit for Peter Samuel, the 11-year-old Austin boy who suffered a brain aneurysm last month after coming home from Ellis Middle School.
The benefit will also mark the formation of a Sudanese congregation, as Peter’s family attended church every Sunday and Grace Lutheran’s support has attracted many Sudanese residents.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16 at Grace Lutheran Church. A ham dinner followed by a silent auction, children’s carnival games and more will take place.
