BLOOMING PRAIRIE — The Blooming Prairie girls basketball team kept up with No. 6 ranked Goodhue (5-1 overall), but they couldn’t close the deal in a 67-58 loss at home Thursday.
Jenna Krell led the Awesome Blossoms (1-3 overall) with 16 points and nine rebounds.
“Wow what a difference two days make,” BP head coach John Worke said. “The kids played much better against a very good Goodhue team. Offensively we moved the ball much better. We shot the ball much better and we accomplished some things that we focused on.”
