BLOOMING PRAIRIE — The Blooming Prairie girls basketball team hit the boards as it beat Hayfield (3-3 overall) for the first time since 2005 with a 55-41 victory in BP Tuesday.
BP (5-3 overall) held a 42-28 rebounding advantage and Jenna Krell pulled down 13 rebounds.
“This was a great win for the girls,” BP head coach John Worke said. “Hayfield makes you play the entire court for the entire game. We have some tired players but I think they felt it was worth it.”
