For the second time in several months, a Level 3 predatory offender is moving to Austin.

A community meeting about the offender, Steven Robert Spore, 42, will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 27 in the Austin City Council chamber.

Spore will move to the 1000 block of Fourth Avenue NE on Jan. 2, 2013. He has a history of contact with juvenile victims, according to a news release from the Austin Police Department. The offender is not wanted by police and has served his sentence. Spore is the same offender who was scheduled to move to Austin several weeks ago but was held back.

Officials from the Austin Police Department and Minnesota Department of Corrections will provide information at the meeting, including the notification program and personal safety.
