Paramount swingin’ into holiday mood

Tapping toes, sweet treats and help for families in need are the tune of the “Swingin’ Into Christmas” Red Cross fundraiser show at 7 p.m. on Dec. 8 at the Paramount Theatre. Tickets are on sale now at the Paramount for $15.
Special Red Cross friends Michael Veldman and Erin Schumacher are adding their voices and talents. “Swingin’ into Christmas” is a 40s-50s style radio show, complete with “on-air” commercials. The show will entertain folks with a variety of acts including singing and dancing featuring Dylan Kaercher, The Austinaires, The Choralaires, Jordan Bentley, Teiler Miller, John Wright and many more.
A free dessert reception by DarCan Foods will be held before the show from 6 to 6:45 p.m.
Proceeds from the event will support the work of the Freeborn-Mower Chapter of the American Red Cross. Tickets can be purchased now at the Paramount Theatre, 125 Fourth Ave. NE in Austin.
