The Hormel Historic Home is getting into the holiday spirit.

Today, Friday and Saturday, the HHH will host the 25th annual Home for the Holidays event. Seventeen area vendors and collectors will decorate rooms throughout the Hormel Home, showcasing decorators’ tastes, fashion and wares.

“It’s very exciting,” said Holly Johnson, executive director at the HHH. “The holidays are upon us, so we might as well jump in.”

Johnson said she’s excited to see so many beautiful room displays, as there are no limits on what a decorator can do. The HHH doesn’t provide a theme or idea, so it’s up to the decorators to make their visions reality.

“I know I’m going to enjoy it and I hope more local people will do the same,” Johnson said.

Displays will be available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 8, 9 and 10. In addition, the HHH will offer its well-known cranberry cake with hot butter sauce for the 12th year running.

Tickets are $9 in advance and $10 at the door. This includes the tour, and cake and coffee. A soup and sandwich lunch will be available for purchase.
