A woman arrested Sunday for allegedly threatening her mother with a knife faces two felony charges in Mower County Court.
Danielle Lynn Sexton, 24, was charged Tuesday with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and terroristic threats. According to the court complaint, Sexton threatened her mother with a knife because she would not give Sexton money to go to Tennessee. Another person at the scene convinced Sexton to drop the knife before calling police. When police arrived, Sexton reportedly said she was going to stab her because the mom only cares for herself.
Nobody was hurt. Sexton’s next court appearance is Dec. 13.
