MASON CITY — The Riverland Community College men’s basketball team couldn’t keep up with NIACC’s pressure as they lost 97-57 on the road Tuesday.

The Blue Devils (2-2 overall) scored the first four points of the game, but it was all downhill from that point.

RCC finished with 36 turnovers.

“We folded to their pressure and we played horrible all night long,” RCC head coach Scott Koenigs said.

Zach Bucnh had 12 points, six rebounds and three assists in the loss for RCC.

RCC also received some even worse news this week as starting guard Brandon Kowalski and sixth man Ruben Williams were both lost for the season with injuries.
