KENYON — The Blooming Prairie girls basketball team lost its season opener to Kenyon-Wanamingo (1-1 overall) by a score of 52-43 on the road Tuesday.
Janelle Morem had 10 points, eight rebounds and two steals for the Awesome Blossoms (0-1 overall).
“I was pleased with the overall effort. It was nice to have Janelle back,” BP head coach John Worke said. “We had a number of kids that had to log a lot of minutes tonight. Fatigue was a big factor but I know that will only get better as we trudge through the season.”
