Superlarks fly, coast into the second round of sections

GRAND MEADOW — The No. 2 seeded Grand Meadow Superlarks scored early and often from a number of different spots, defeating No. 7-seeded Glenville-Emmons 42-8 Tuesday night.
Trent Tangen scored twice and Landon Jacobson, Cameron Turner and Trenton Bleifus all scored once.
“We played well tonight,” coach Gary Sloan said. “If you’ve been in this long enough like I have you know if you played well and if you don’t. We came out with a good attitude and we set the tone.”
The Superlarks amassed 278 total yards while holding Glenville-Emmons to just 101 yards.
Jacobson ran the ball six times to lead Grand Meadow on the ground for 131 yards.
Grand Meadow (8-1) will host Lanesboro Saturday at 7 p.m.
