An Austin woman who was arrested on April 24 with a large amount of meth changed her plea to guilty Thursday in Mower County Court.
Sikkim Leang, 28, pleaded to a lesser charge of third-degree drug possession of three grams or more of methamphetamine as part of a plea agreement. According to the court complaint, police found 28.1 grams of meth and 6.7 grams of marijuana when they executed a search warrant at the 300 block of Second Street NE.
In the complaint, Leang admitted the drugs belonged to her, and she said she sold meth at $80 a gram to support her own drug habit during the past four months.
Leang will be sentenced Dec. 13.
