HOUSTON — The Lyle-Pacelli football team couldn’t find the end zone as it lost 54-0 at Houston (4-3 overall, 4-3 SEC) on the road Friday.
The Athletics (1-6 overall, 1-6 SEC) got in the red zone three times in the first half and couldn’t score and they also fumbled in their own territory near the end of the half which allowed the Hurricanes to take a 34-0 lead to the break.
“We played well in the first half and we had some opportunities,” LP head coach Reid Olson said. “We had opportunities to punch it in there. The second half was an uphill battle.”
