Mower County Fair talent contest produces state fair winners
The Mower County Fair talent contest produced Minnesota State Fair winners.
The Open division at the county level was won by a group performing a string quartet; the group included Braun Oldenkamp, Jacob Crosby, Martha and Olive McDermott. After taking first place again in their divison at the Minnesota State Fair, they went on to perform in the finals held on Saturday night and came home with the third place money and trophy.
Congratulations to this fine group that did such a great job in representing Mower County at the Minnesota State Fair.

Krulish released “Walk,” several months ago — a story of his life after paralysis, coping with being a quadriplegic, his faith and family struggles. Books will be available for purchase, and Krulish will sign the books with a stamp of his signature that he created with years of practice of using a mouthstick to perform everyday tasks.
