Austin's Nicole Lipari takes the ball away from Winona's Autumn Beckman during the first half Thursday night at Art Hass Stadium.

The Austin girls had plenty of chances to score a win in overtime, but they had to settle for a 1-1 tie with Winona (3-6-2 overall, 3-3-1 Big Nine) in Art Hass Stadium Thursday.

The Winhawks tied the game up in the second half and the Packers (6-5-1 overall, 2-4-1 Big Nine) couldn’t find the mark on a game-winner.

“We put pressure on them and we had more shots,” Austin head coach Enrique Camarena-Corzo said. “We played one of our best games, but unfortunately the ball didn’t go in.”
