Hayfield wins home volleyball tournament

HAYFIELD — The Hayfield volleyball team went 4-0 as it won its own eight-team invite Saturday.
Dani Wagner had 28 kills for the Vikings (6-1 overall), who beat Goodhue 25-14, 25-16 in the title game.
In pool play, Hayfield beat Southland 25-14, 25-14, beat LeRoy-Ostrander 25-12, 25-12, and beat Lewiston-Altura 25-6, 25-18.
L-O (5-2 overall) took third place after it beat Blooming Prairie (4-3 overall) 28-26, 24-26, 15-13.
The Rebels (3-8 overall) finished in seventh place after they beat Lyle-Pacelli (1-5 overall) 25-20, 25-12.
